A project that brings a core group of Burlington artists together to create an interactive, spectacular, accessible, performative, informative space for art. The circus has been a long-standing way to connect the general public to art, through performance and fanfare. It has a way of breaking barriers between artists, as aerialists, sword swallowers, clowns, acrobats, and the audience come together to… wash away their doubts with a little glitter and razzle-dazzle. A “pop-up gallery” downtown Burlington that brings circus inspired art to our community will encourage the idea that art is in fact for everyone.
